Fire Safety Consultancy, Fire Investigation & Fire Training in Pakistan | PNIFA
Home / Fire safety

Take one side away and the fire goes out.

PNIFA's fire safety practice works on all three sides: consultancy that removes fuel and ignition, systems that detect and suppress, and training so people act. When a fire does happen, our investigators establish origin and cause.

Fire investigation

Where it started, and why.

Our investigators follow the systematic, scientific approach set out in NFPA 921. Each conclusion in the report traces back to evidence, for management, insurers and the courts.

  1. Hour 0–6Notification and scene securityThe scene is preserved, access logged, and structural safety confirmed before entry.
  2. Day 1DocumentationPhotographs, scene sketches and drone imagery before anything is moved.
  3. Day 1–3Fire patterns and evidenceBurn patterns, arc mapping and debris layering. Samples are collected with chain of custody.
  4. Day 2–5Witnesses, CCTV and recordsInterviews, alarm panel logs, maintenance and hot work permits.
  5. Week 2Hypotheses testedEach possible cause is tested against the data until only one is supported.
  6. Week 3Report and recommendationsOrigin, cause, contributing factors and the changes that would prevent a repeat.
